Romanticism

Guest concert in the Freylinghausen Hall with Monan Jülch & Gabriel Husson

On the one hand, the term ‘Romanticism’ is taken straight from life, but it also describes an epoch as a result of the Enlightenment in which the human being suddenly takes centre stage. Beginning with Beethoven, the idea reached its limits with D'Albert at the end of the 19th century. The young pianists Monan Jülch and Gabriel Husson present a concert of masterpieces from the beginning to the end of the Romantic period
