Archivophilia. Beautiful things from the archive of the Francke Foundations

Opening of the cabinet exhibition

The archive of the Francke Foundations houses a wealth of treasures that are not only of cultural and historical value, but also of aesthetic value. On display are oriental and medieval manuscripts, documents, prints and engravings that reflect the society of the time and provide an insight into the art and culture of past eras.

The cabinet exhibition will be opened with a lecture by Prof. Dr. Ulrike Höroldt, Director of the Secret State Archives of Prussian Cultural Heritage in Berlin.
