News about the plan archive of the Francke Foundations

Thanks to a generous grant from the state of Saxony-Anhalt from special COVID-19 funds, 2,000 large-format historical plan drawings have been digitised at the August Hermann Francke Study Centre and the entire plan archive with more than 3,400 drawings has been made available online.

Edition project of the National Library in Riga and the Francke Foundations honored

On February 18, 2025, the Latvian Academy of Sciences awarded a prize to the edition project of the biography of Friedrich Bernhard Blaufuß (1697-1756), which resulted from a cooperation between the National Library (Riga) and the Francke Foundations (Halle).
