»300 years of curiosity. Hidden knowledge from the Cabinet of Artefacts and Natural Curiosities«

The annual exhibition at the Francke Foundations focuses on the order of the Cabinet of Artefacts and Natural Curiosities, which is the theme of the annual program. Entitled »300 years of curiosity. Hidden Knowledge from the Cabinet of Artefacts and Natural Curiosities«, it is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the reopening in the Historic Orphanage and presents current topics of research and thus exciting approaches for today's visitors to the Baroque collection of the 18th century.
For the opening, Ivo Nitschke, percussionist of the State Orchestra Halle and Andreas Voß (cello, viola da gamba, electro loops) will transform the idea of the Baroque Cabinet into a polyphonic sound experience in a musical premiere.
