About collecting and ordering

With his free-wheeling and unconventional observations, Axel Hacke is one of the most popular authors and feature writers in Germany. In his essays and stories, he often deals with the challenges of everyday life in a sensitive and humorous way. His column »The best from around the world«, which he has published every week for decades in the »Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazine«, is famous. Axel Hacke has also made a name for himself with his collections of interrogations and menus. His books have been translated into numerous languages and have been honoured with the Joseph Roth Prize, two Egon Erwin Kisch Prizes, the Theodor Wolff Prize and most recently the Ben Witter Prize. In November, he will be our guest in the series »Personalities in dialogue« in cooperation with MDR.
