The Francke Foundations in Halle have a unique history. Considered one of the most important educational institutions in Germany in the 18th century, they experienced an unprecedented rescue operation after German reunification in 1990. The historic buildings were preserved, albeit in a deplorable condition. The great commitment of many people made it possible to restore the architecture to its former glory and to give the Francke Foundations a home again as an educational cosmos. You are invited to an exciting walk through history and the present!
