Educational impulses for UNESCO project schools in the Francke Foundations

Teachers and educators gain practical insights into educational work

On 18 September, we warmly welcome the participants of the nationwide conference of UNESCO project schools.

Teachers and educators from schools, the education administration and the professional public have the opportunity to get to know the Francke Foundations through guided tours and practical sessions (e.g. in the plant garden, in educational work or in the annual exhibition). These experiences are intended to inspire the development of new approaches to educational work and their integration into school practice.

About the UNESCO Associated Schools: The network of UNESCO Associated Schools comprises 300 educational institutions of all school types in Germany. These schools are committed to high-quality educational work in the spirit of the global sustainability goals and a culture of peace. A central component of the programme is cooperation with extracurricular places of learning in order to promote experimental, exploratory and transformative learning both inside and outside the classroom.
