New Halle Card enables a two-day trip through the city - and to the Francke Foundations

Spring also marks the start of the travel season. The Halle Card is now available for Halle tourists. For 24.95€ (reduced rate: 14.95€ for children aged 6 to 17), visitors get access to twelve museums in Halle, can explore the Halle Mountain Zoo, take part in a city tour and discover the Halle city area by bus and train with Hallesche Verkehrs-AG. The Francke Foundations are of course also included. With the Halle Card you can visit our permanent and special exhibitions, including the Cabinet of Artefacts and Natural Curiosities and the Historic Library.

The card is now available online as an e-ticket or to print out at ww.museen-halle.de Visitors can also obtain a personalised wooden card in cheque card format from the tourist information office. The Moritzburg Art Museum also offers the e-ticket at the ticket office. The Halle Card is valid for two days, starting at 8:00 a.m. on the first day and ending at 11:59 p.m. on the following day.

Other participating institutions in the Halle Museum Network are the Beatles Museum, the Red Ox Memorial, the Händel-Haus & Wilhelm-Friedemann-Bach-Haus, the Kunsthalle Talstrasse, the Moritzburg Art Museum, the State Museum of Prehistory, the Oberburg Giebichenstein (April-October), the Salinemuseum Halle (from December 2025), the Stadtmuseum Halle and the Zentralmagazin für Naturwissenschaftliche Sammlungen & Zentrale Kustodie der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. The project is a cooperation between the City of Halle (Saale), Stadtmarketing Halle (Saale) GmbH, the Halle (Saale) Museum Network, Halle (Saale) Zoo and Halle's public transport company HAVAG.
